The clouds broke for the weekend, and the Community School of South Tamworth hosted their annual Spring Fair. For those of you who are not familiar with the Community School, it is an alternative farm school, where the curriculum is based on applied skills of the natural world. Since farming utilizes many skills, a chunk of the learning takes place running the organic farm; From soil testing for biology to new structure proposals for math class, the entire student body is active to keep the farm going.
What better day to make terrariums, just in time for Mother’s Day!
Farmer’s are some of the smartest people I know, so we love contributing to the education of future farmers! And with a backdrop like this, who wouldn’t jump at the chance to get involved for an afternoon!
